Eton State School is a safe, happy and friendly school focused on developing creative learners, achieving personal excellence, respect and responsibility. 'Learn to Live' has been the school motto for over 50 years fostering active citizens who aspire to be lifelong learners that make positive contributions to society.

To ensure all students at Eton State School reach their full potential and be given opportunity to extend their abilities, personalised intervention and extension programs are part of our regular every day classroom practices.

At Eton State School, we place an emphasis on every student's creativity and achievement. We have a proud tradition of being a supportive and caring community that delivers outstanding educational opportunities for all students. We provide our students with a variety of opportunities to participate in many extra-curricular activities. Our staff, students and parents actively participate with other Pioneer Valley Cluster Schools in a range of activities on a regular basis. We value these special days with our small school partners to allow our students to form new friendships which develop over the years and assist with the transition into high school.

Students participate in daily activities with a range of the latest technologies to enhance their learning journeys. At Eton State School, our learning experiences follow the Australian Curriculum. The Australian Curriculum sets out the core knowledge, understanding, skills and general capabilities important for all Australian students. It describes the learning entitlement of students as a foundation for their future learning, growth and active participation in the Australian community. It makes clear what all young Australians should learn as they progress through schooling. It is the foundation for high quality teaching to meet the needs of all Australian students.
